The offer

The "Bērīts" stable invites you to spend time outdoors with horses!

You will have the chance to meet the foals. Host Māra will ensure a cozy celebration with countryside soup, a campfire, and freshly baked bread.

In the offer:

“Rikšiem bērīt’ es palaidu”

At our place, you can learn about what and who the Latvian "Bērīts" is. You can also see purebred Arabian horses, purebred Ukrainian riding horses, and other beautiful horses. Our horses are raised and accustomed to children. The stallion Roderiks is trained to recognize numbers, colors, and letters, dance, open doors and cabinets with his teeth, as well as collect and distribute objects that are placed in front of him.

At the stable, visitors can enjoy horseback rides. If you are a beginner or feel unsure, the owners will assist you. The horse will be led by a lead rope in the riding area to ensure the rider feels safe. For those interested in longer rides, there is an option to explore a longer route through the surrounding meadows, discovering local points of interest. For example, you can learn about the Latvian sauna "Lejasmārtiņi," see where the Baldone manor once stood, visit the renowned Baltic leisure complex "Baldones Waterjump," and, if you're lucky, encounter local deer, foxes, and other wildlife.

For those who are just starting to bond with horses, there is an opportunity to get closer to these majestic animals and have photo sessions. During your visit, you can learn more about the lifestyle and habits of these large and loyal animals. Horses will definitely appreciate a bit of pampering—careful grooming and a treat, which can be offered with the owner's consent. This will certainly help to build a quicker friendship.

Riding a horse is a great way to relax, escape the daily hustle, and improve your physical fitness. You can also learn more advanced riding skills and communication with horses under the guidance of an experienced trainer. Therapeutic riding exercises on the horse are also offered.

In winter, when there is enough snow, you can enjoy rides in horse-drawn sleighs and then warm up by the campfire.

Stories and celebrations

Host Māra will gladly share the story of the century-old building — once the servant’s quarters of the Baldone manor. You will have the opportunity to explore the historical developments and changes of the estate. Upon request, the hosts will arrange for outdoor celebrations and offer various seasonal treats. You can enjoy freshly tapped birch sap and homemade bread, sit by the campfire where delicious soup or pancakes are cooked, and have dinner or breakfast prepared. The cozy atmosphere will be enhanced by other household pets — cats, friendly dogs, and the ducks Ansis and Grieta.

Gift card

It’s possible that a visit to the countryside will leave such vivid emotions that you’ll want to share them with someone special. This is possible, as you can purchase a gift card for the "Bērīts" stable. The recipient will have the opportunity to enjoy an hour-long horseback ride or celebrate an event here.
