Two sweet animals – the little donkey Zlata and the noble horse Zarts – were found near the front line in Kherson, Ukraine. In the horrors of war, they lost their owner, their home, and their documents.

Later, they found shelter in the territory of the Kherson Botanical Garden, where they were cared for by their former owner’s brave friend, Masha. Yes – even under shelling and drone strikes, she visited them every single day and sought help for this extraordinary pair.

Thanks to the support of many people, the animals were successfully evacuated. Once again, we extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone.

The journey was a true test, but now they are safe. Zlata now also has a godmother – Ance Polāne from “Soul Horse Massage,” to whom we say a big THANK YOU for her care and support.
